This week’s teacher treats are an old favorite of mine. Pioneer woman cinnamon rolls. They are SUPER simple to make. If you are intimidated by yeast, don’t be. My trick for knowing just when to add yeast? The baby bottle test. Test the liquid that you are going to add the yeast to like you would a baby bottle. If you would give it to a baby, it’s ready!
The only things I do differently than the PW is I don’t melt my butter to put on the dough. Instead I use butter that has been left out and is at room temp. Same amount but I find it easier to work with this way. I also don’t do the maple flavoring or add coffee to my frosting. I swap out for vanilla and use extra milk.
I like to use these “individual” pie pans when I am making rolls to give to individuals. They are the perfect size for two rolls to cook right in there. I got these at Target! I just added a printable and some bakers twine and that’s it!
You can find this week’s free printable HERE.
P.S. My preferred method of printing
these is to drag it to a word file, resize it to a size that works for
me and tile it on the page and print that way onto cardstock.
You can also download the shutterfly app
and order them as 4 by 6in prints for FREE if you pay shipping. This
printable would be great for lots of things, not just teachers! Lunch
boxes, notes to a friend and more!
